Pros
Interesting work, truly exciting mission, opportunity to work in science, smart people. Lots of good changes (honesty, business focus) with new management. Fun opportunities to show work and compete for research money like shark tanks. Great retirement contribution. Lots of health plan choices. Pay is ok.
Cons
There have been lots of reviews about too much management and the recent layoff addressed some of that. Of course people who are laid off may have a negative view although many appreciate that the CEO explained why it needed to be done in a transparent and logical way. The company is making the changes needed to sustain and grow and is asking employees at all levels to participate in the changes to the work environment.
