Pros

Free parking Free hot drinks Private medical Early finish on a Friday

Cons

Extremely high staff turnover No strategic direction from management Cliqueyness/double standards surrounding management Bad business outlook - new product lines are a commercial flop, increased competition and costs in the sector Focused on quick fixes and short-term solutions instead of a long-term approach Recent redundancy process If you're considering working here, please take the positive reviews (which all seem suspiciously HR written, and always seem to be posted within a couple of weeks of a negative review) with a pinch of salt. Not sure what is so "bright future" about a company that made a loss last year, made layoffs, will probably make a loss this year, and is badly haemorrhaging staff.

Pros

The people are great, really friendly and hardworking. The teams collaborate, pulling in the same direction, improving all the time. The place has positive momentum. Being part of a smaller organisation means there's nowhere to hide, but that's not a bad thing - It’s a growing company with big ambitions, so there are plenty of opportunities to really grow in your role. It’s definitely a place where you get out what you put in – effort and initiative go a long way, and you are rewarded for a positive approach to decision-making and project delivery. The products are great, and the potential for the company is huge. It has the chance to become the market leader. I feel both cared about and listened to. I've never worked anywhere that cares this much about you and your life outside of work. A culture of improvement, coupled with autonomy for your area of expertise, means that people have the chance to be decisive, make a real difference, and move things forwards quickly.

Cons

Some busy periods of the calendar can be full-on, as there are peaks when a lot of work is required. Can be too numbers-focused at times. Changing priorities can occasionally put a strain on staff and the ability to deliver objectives. Successes aren't as celebrated as they could be - It would be good to pause briefly every now then, and enjoy more of our wins!
