Pros

My recruiter - Abigail O'Connor - keeps me busy and always keeps me in the loop. Communication is key and she lets me know consistently where I stand with any companies that I've interviewed with. She always asks for my opinion of a job before submitting it to the prospective employer. More importantly she is very HONEST about the responsibilities of the position. For example, I'm looking for EA roles but she will talk to me about a temp AA position just to keep me busy and building my resume. She's awesome!

Cons

I have no cons at the moment.

Pros

Beacon Hill group was amazing to work with! They always check in, provide new leads, and guide me through every step of the interview process which landed me a new job.

Cons

They focus primarily on finance, so it's tricky to use your other background to get into the jobs people are looking for, but my recruiters did an amazing job selling me.

Pros

They recruited me for what looked like a good job.

Cons

1) I was recruited and hired as a Program Manager, then within the first week, I was informed by the client that "we only hire Program Managers internally" and was made a Project Manager. 2) The contract was cancelled abruptly by the client after 18 months, for the official reason, conveyed by Beacon Hill, that my client manager didn't approve of a (completely innocuous and inoffensive) joke overheard between myself and a colleague. 3) Beacon Hill staff provided no value added communication, interaction or support throughout the entire 18-month engagement, and has provided no support afterwards for finding the next engagement.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for your feedback. We’re glad you saw potential in the opportunity at the outset and appreciate the time you spent working with us. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations, particularly regarding role alignment, communication, and support. While client needs and decisions can sometimes shift unexpectedly—including role scope and assignment duration—we recognize how important clear communication and consistent support are throughout an engagement. Your feedback is important and is shared internally as we continue to evaluate how we support our consultants before, during, and after assignments. We appreciate your contributions and wish you the best in your future endeavors.
