Never in my life have I felt more validated, respected and appreciated than I have during my 12 years with Becht Engineering. The family's "Eagle Scout" values are mirrored throughout the organization and instill a level of confidence, trust, and commitment not readily found elsewhere. The company how has the third generation of family members (BSCE, BSChE, BSME/MS Nuclear Engineering,) in Leadership positions; however, the values remain the same as they were at the launch of the company more than 50 years ago. Becht Engineering champions its employees. Leadership encourages us to be creative, take calculated risks, overcome obstacles, and achieve unimagined results every day. Our President and Vice Presidents don't sit in an ivory tower. They are in the trenches with the rest of us, working for the betterment of us all. The success and growth/expansion of the company is due to the unfailing vision of our President, Dr. Charles Becht IV, but it also stems from Leadership not placing limits on employees’ potential for growth within the organization, and our ability to contribute in a meaningful way.
Cons
Although our headquarters are in New Jersey, we have several offices across the United States (including Hawaii), and one in Canada. The company is in a period of rapid growth, and although we communicate with each other extensively via telephone/Skype and email, it sometimes is challenging to keep track of new employees, their roles, etc.
