Pros
For the most part, the team was friendly. There was lots to do and plenty to learn. The company was ambitious.
Cons
The management structure was poor and there was no HR department. Management would often pressure employees, and were out of touch with the viewpoints of the rest of the company. The working hours & workloads sometimes became excessive. Management would call on personal mobile numbers outside of working hours, expecting employees to work. Some of the decisions made by management were shady and didn’t necessarily reflect the ethical values the company’s marketing leads consumers to believe it follows. There was little in the way of employee benefits, and most social activities were organised and run by the team. I got the impression while working there and from speaking to colleagues after leaving was that most employees were unhappy at the company but didn’t raise their concerns.
