Pros

-A few years ago when the "Great Place to Work" committee was allowed to be active, it was one of the best work environments I had experienced. Would have left a 4 or 5 star review had I moved on back then. -Good benefits. -Decent pay. -Great field experience -Consistently put on events to appreciate and reward staff. -Some teams were very close and could rely on one another.

Cons

-Previous Head of HR, now COO Leslie White, has 0 HR experience and it shows. Most hostile unapproachable HR staff I have ever met. Body shamed female staff members frequently. Would suddenly behave friendly to certain staff members and attempt to learn gossip about other staff. Moved staff to new departments and positions without discussing any potential move with them first, refused to raise their salaries to match their new roles. Some employees were making almost 30k less than their coworkers with the same job titles, doing the same work. -CCO, Lisa Knysz, is running yet another company into the ground. Mistreats her staff and screams at them behind closed doors. Pushed out more effective members of the leadership team. Does not tolerate anyone asking questions. Had supervisor, Jason Jordan, falsify documentation to submit to HR on employees she disliked. -Surprised staff with unannounced layoffs right before the 2018 holidays by calling staff members on their desk phones 1 by 1 to appear down the hall in Leslie's office. Had staff members scrambling in a panic upon hearing a phone ring for almost 2 hours to see who would be laid off next. -Did not communicate to staff upon losing their contract with the county and purposely left staff members in the dark. Would become aggressive with staff members that voiced feeling unsure about their future because of this. -Required all staff to participate in a "boot camp" training program and assigned projects to groups to present to the organization. Instead, leadership chose to change the delivery style the day of the presentation to a sales pitch with senior management pretending to be another organization. They behaved aggressively and rudely to staff members while "acting" this out in front of the entire organization.

Pros

The people are what make this organization outstanding. Awesome team/ family atmosphere. The company is growing in a new direction and as of now we are in the midst of exciting times here.

Cons

I am not a fan of the dress code. Ties are mandatory except for the company polo shirt.

Pros

BHPI is growing rapidly and offers great opportunities for bright, passionate individuals. Thier innovative integrated healthcare solutions give team members the ability to personally affect change in the lives of people in the community. It feels great to facilitate positive outcomes. Great benefits. The team really cares about one another.

Cons

There is a bit of the "we've always done it this way" attitude in the organization and that stifles progress at times.
