Good Place to Work - Assistant to President Benchmark Games Employee Review

I worked at Benchmark Games for almost 2 years. It was a terrific place to work. I loved the people, and the work. Management seemed to care about the employees. Benchmark was for me the best place I have ever worked. Unfortunately I had to move and no longer work there. I hope if I move back to the area they have an opening for me.. Improvements in the company while I was there were amazing. I loved the piece work some people did not but they were just to slow I guess for it to work for them.

Sometimes hectic with changes but I guess that happens everywhere. Had to work more hours sometimes than I wanted but thankful for the work.

Work schedules are flexible. Tons of overtime available.

Production manager makes poor decisions that negatively impact the company. Overtime pay is bleeding the company as well as a large amount of waste being created by shops within the factory not making parts to specification. HR Department is not professionally manned. Employee has limited experience and is a nasty person to deal with. Piece work not being checked properly, poorly manufactured items leaving the factory and going to the customer, then they come back to the factory and the cycle begins again. What a waste!
