Pros

Berlin Cameron is a tight-knit and laid back organization - full of smart, talented people. Being a small agency, juniors are given a lot of responsibility. They have the opportunity to work directly with senior-level people on a daily basis, and get their hands on multiple accounts (in a variety of industries). As my first job out of college, Berlin was a great introduction into advertising, as I was able to wear many hats - including production, project management, and new business.

Cons

Without an office administrator or HR department, junior-level staff can sometimes get overwhelmed with tasks that don't foster strong career development. Also, mentorship isn't a give in, you must be proactive about wanting to learn.

Pros

Small shop - you can work on a lot Cool briefs - we get a lot of interesting briefs/pitches and get pulled in by the WPP network to elevate concepts regularly Remote - the agency is remote in the covid world which is great for personal work/life balance

Cons

Small shop - you work on a lot because there aren't enough people to do the work Remote - personal work/life balance is up to you and the work never ends Finances - we're part of WPP so there are a lot of approvals for everything and there never seems to be enough to go around. Clients don't have enough, agency doesn't have enough, but we still are coming up with cool ideas no one can afford
