Pros
The pros are endless. Everything I was 'sold' at interview stage was completely genuine, and if anything they were more humble than they should be. I joined from a global recruitment firm and at the time, my only reservation was the reach and reputation of a smaller, independent agency, but they exceeded my expectations. They work with the biggest players in the UK, but never neglecting the smaller businesses that are in need of recruitment support. Their ethos is to do things the right way, build strong and real relationships and its something I will take away with me for the rest of my career. The Directors have successful created a culture of working collaboratively, encouraging all to share the same ambition of success. There's no candidate ownership or 'dog eat dog' mentality. You're treated as an adult with no micromanagement, just trust that your work ethic is high and any coaching or development areas are addressed, often by the Directors themselves. I wish everyone at Better Placed the very best and I'll miss the team hugely. I only left because of an opportunity I got approached for that I had to see through.
Cons
No cons in my opinion.
