Not sure if it's a great organization? Reach out directly to the team members—the ones who fit the culture and currently work for the org. This org does care about their people and do real meaningful work in the community. That said, you need to be disciplined; it's a remote environment. Best team you will ever work with- everyone has a voice and is appreciated. Work-life balance is a personal responsibility. The organization has an on-call system, leadership steps in to helps, when understaffed, goals get adjusted, and they actively encourage work-life balance. Great pay with lots of flexibility. Thankful for that as a hard working single parent.

The people who no longer work for our team- that weren't a good culture fit and hurt our reputation and didn't represent the heart of the org while on the team.

Fulfilling work and good pay.

There's a lot of talk about culture for an organization with less than ideal culture. The leadership could be described as toxic and it trickles down into rest of organization. If an employee speaks up and asks for help or shares about potential issues, they are not listened to and are treated poorly for doing so. There's a high turnover rate and when people leave, only a few are bold enough to share the actual reasons they're leaving with leadership and HR.
