Pros

I've been working here since December and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. I feel challenged to keep growing on a daily basis both professionally and also within my personal habits. We work with a couple of fortune 500 divisions that offer constant upward mobility and the managers do have a thorough interview process. I know this because I obviously went through it and was offered a position. It's a little bit sad how people attack new emerging businesses just because they weren't able to make it in the company. I couldn't be happier with the team of people that I work with.

Cons

This is my first time working directly in marketing campaigns and also my first time teaching marketing impacts in front of large groups so this has definitely allowed me to get out of my comfort zone.

Pros

I came in looking for somewhere where I could gain experience and confidence in a business environment and got payed for it. I'm studying in UCR (business management) and wanted to work over the summer in a place where I would get hands on experience in leadership and marketing responsibilities and I got that and more.

Cons

High but reachable expectations. A lot of information to learn.

Pros

Though I was here a short time, the people here try their hardest to make you feel welcome; this includes people who obviously don't like you. While it is true that the primary product campaign they work on is the "Obama phone," I felt good about getting it into the hands of the people that needed it. It is easy to learn, and if something is forgotten, or a question arises, the assistant manager and team leader -- the person who hired you -- is available to answer any question as honestly or as detailed as needed.

Cons

It is true that they don't have their license to sell in some areas. The hours are from 8:00am to as late as 7:00pm, Monday through Saturday. They don't train people to lie, they just use their own marketing examples far too much out of context during training. All their job postings are, as far as I am aware, technically for entry level, or the same position. I can't confirm this fully, as it does look like there are some positions open with specific qualifications that differ greatly from each other, but more than likely the position is outdoor sales. If this isn't true, then at least four people believed it too; at the very least other departments or teams should have been made known to us, all I saw was sales.
