Compensation is competitive, and benefits are as well, if hired on permanently. They provide bottled water, and have a hot beverage despenser. Also regularly buy the employees meals, and rent out Lagoon for a day during the summer.
Cons
As many reviews have stated, the leadership needs an overhaul. Promotions are mostly based upon how much someone is liked, and not based upon work performance. Infact, there have been people promoted that should have been fired, and have no business being in a leadership position. I have witnessed, and endured bullying by leadership from all levels. Racial favoritism is an issue as well, however it isn't noticed because it's not the leaders who are white doing it. There are too many cons within the leadership aspect of Overstock.com to list.
