There are lots of challenges to work here : You have to be mentally very strong to accept day to day challenge and think about your decision to work here. I am not sure about Hike,Games and Hopper but this feedback for BSB Portal. Working here like a hell There are no career growth There are no personal growth There are no learning opportunities i can't even think one positive or motivative think so I can work here. Why it is family oriented because you will get only good increment of your salary in appraisal for below reasons : 1. If you are good friend of manager (only one manager here for every person) 2. If you worked with manager in former organization 3. If you have attitude like "yes sir yes sir" then you can also get good increment 4. If you married then you will also get good increment 5. If you married and have children then you will get better increment BUT IF YOU ARE BACHELOR THEN NO MATTER HOW MUCH PASSION AND ABILITY YOU HAVE AND HOW MUCH WORK YOU HAVE DONE FOR ORGANIZATION, you will get only standard 5 % increment of salary. This sounds to be funny but its true and happening in this organization. I will never recommend anyone to go for this organization.

1) Learning opportunities are always considered to be immense in a Startup and HIKE keeps up with this expectation. 2) Flexible timings with well defined roles for individuals in the team. The team works as a one unit and you are free to ask anyone for help and i must say, you'll be genuinely answered. 3) Leadership for the team is in great hands, with a great open culture. You can always share any issues you have and believe me, you will be given full attention on that accordingly. 4) Free Lunch and Mac is well known about Hike. 5) Work from home option is great and defines itself in this company. 6) Regular programming classes amongst the team members, helping every individual to grow their knowledge-base. 7) The QA team is very well divided for areas to be covered and is well structured. 8) Regular meetings, which are more like an open discussion about your work and what you want to do and how to go about that! 9) The whole hike team is great and its a great friendly environment. Open- culture where you are not bound to walls.

I have seen some people writing here in reviews about establishing Core values, but in a start-up things like these will and should take some time.
