Nice Job - Manager In Training Big 5 Sporting Goods Employee Review

Pros

Work is easy. There is always something to do or some customer to help. Training is there you just got to keep reminding them about it. Most of the time they are worried with getting the ad set up or some other project

Cons

Training is slow. They won't train you unless you are scheduled for it. Current manager's may see you as a threat so they slow your training down.

Pros

Most employees were really fun to work with, life/work balance was great, taught me good life skills, good first job for work experience.

Cons

Barely got scheduled (pretty sure my location was way over employed), occasional rude and entitled costumers (especially during the holidays), could get very slow and boring at times, sketchy area, overal, not a great job if you're looking for something that pays well.
