Pros

One of the better retail jobs due to team size, inventory size, work culture, and customer demography (but experience varies by location); Helps you develop team and time management skills, conflict resolution with customers or within team; Familiarity with current products for shopping; Training for firearm paperwork and compliance; Works with schedule for part-timers; Annual raise or bonus, but don't expect miracles; Employee discounts and benefits are really good, you can bend some rules quite a lot.

Cons

Severely underpaid for the amount of duties and responsibilities such as firearm compliance; Will not necessary work with schedule as a full-timer (or it will depend on your management team); 5 years behind compared to other retailers pay; Do not expect an incredible raise (in case you receive one); Annual raise might be below inflation rate.
