Pros
Founder and CEO is a lovely person, classic scientist/engineer type thinker and MOs. Mostly is the sole person driving business development, marketing, tech, systems, finance, hiring and frequent engagement in scrum meetings. Impressive what one with a reliable "right hand" person can accomplish. Products, systems, sales pipeline work. Clients that can follow through on the product along with partnering apps and systems recommended by the company work, providing clients have the aptitude, time and help to execute. Company product is excellent.
Cons
There is no culture, work force is made up of contracted workers mostly in developing countries. One would have to advocate strongly for your needs. You set your own schedule, but to be effective ends up being in U.S. EDT time zone hours. No structure for bonus, acknowledgement, incentive for top performers. Post positions are revolving door in nature as a result. Most start-ups without infusions of external capital are going to function this way. Short-sighted in human capital and creating a sustainable work environment. Employees can contribute ideas and significantly influence the company's growth. Leans heavily on automations and on humans for the mission critical tasks. Most likely will build up company to establish a reliable track record to sell. The only people to win are the CEO, select U.S. based partners, hope you have it in a contract if you think that should also include you.
