Pros

Nice environment, regular staff is nice and easy to work with. The work itself is good.

Cons

Not a "competitive" salary as they advertise. Certain management acts like children and is not there more than half the time, does a poor job of leading.

Thank you for your candid comments. Big Voodoo strives to provide an open and communicative environment to its employees. We frequently have team meetings and company town hall meetings to bridge communication gaps. We are committed to training, both internally and externally, with our employees frequently traveling to Google training seminars or attending web social media training with certifications (to name a few). Despite your comments to the contrary, we have several members of senior leadership as well as department managers available to our employees. We understand that not all employees that leave our employment are happy and each has a different circumstance. But our doors are always open for past or present employees to provide feedback, suggestions and comments. We wish you the best in your career.

Pros

Big Voodoo Interactive is a great company to freelance for. They set clear expectations, provide reasonable deadlines and communicate well throughout projects. Payment is always on time. As a long-term contractor, I've been very pleased with the relationship.

Cons

My experience is overall positive.

Pros

Kind and trusting group of people that are motivated to make good work together. There's also a good work life balance and flexible WFH.

Cons

There's not really an onboarding process, so you do have to put yourself out there in the beginning and ask questions.
