      Pros

      I appreciate the character and knowledge of my colleagues, BigID hired great people! People are willing to help me through the challenges of a start-up.

      Cons

      We have a road to pave in the federal group! I put a thumbs down for the 6 month business outlook because we need lots of federal things to get going and they are moving very slowly, very worried about that. Product and opportunity for the future is very promising, but we need to move faster with support for vpat, fips, gsa schedule, common criteria etc.

      Pros

      Product quality has significantly improved over the years. Scanning every type of data for sensitive elements is hard. Rare the product loses in head to head fair evaluations.

      Cons

      Market has been negatively impacted by competitors spending way more $ to buy influencers like CISOs & Resellers.

      Seen as a leader in their space

      The impression I got is that they were in panic mode looking for investors or a buyer and there are concerns about other AI tools closing the gap to make them less distinct in the market. Recent massive layoffs only reinforce this idea to me.
