Pros

Good balance between in the office and remote working Pleasant office space Decent training and induction Actual work is varied and fairly enjoyable, though it does get repetitive

Cons

Not a competitive salary - felt many of the socials and ‘office-based perks’ were designed to compensate for this Very limited room for progression Cliquey atmosphere at times

Pros

Some of the people are nice. You can work from home a lot. Office dogs are nice to have around. 4pm finish is good, but means you have to take 30 mins less on your lunch.

Cons

Where to begin? Culture is the worst I’ve ever encountered. Nobody speaks to each other outside of their teams, cliques and gossiping are rife and the MD refuses to join in any team activities, actively shutting themself away in their office. Leadership is weak and vindictive. I’ve overheard the MD and office manager discuss people’s appearances in a really nasty way before, as well as being incredibly rude about people’s abilities and personal problems on multiple occasions. They also have someone in charge of the client services team who has 0 experience or ability in that field and who is barely in themself. They don’t believe in continuous feedback, instead wait to dump their made up problems on you in the monthly review. However, there is an obsession over team meetings which take up far too much time and there seems to be a constant fight for meeting room space. The work load is incredibly high, and the expectation levels are too when compared to the training provided. We seem to have no control over who we work with and how we work with them. Staff turn over is high, especially in the PPC and client services teams. The owner and MD have an image of being out of touch, both come across as arrogant and judgemental. There are 2 parking spaces available, one of which the MD takes and the other is by my ex manager. I don’t drive, but for a company of 25 or so people in a non-friendly public transport area, this is difficult. I was let go after barely any notice or any justifiable reason, only to hear from friends that they had given the rest of the team a completely different reason for me leaving.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While this review doesn’t reflect what we typically hear from our team, we take it very seriously and remain committed to continuous improvement. Our annual staff turnover is 12.5%, and we have always believed our culture is positive, though there is, of course, always room for improvement. Over the past four years in a leadership role, I have worked with 50 different employees. Thankfully, I have only had to make the difficult decision to let someone go on three occasions. In each instance, the appropriate process was followed, and constructive feedback was provided. If there are any concerns or misunderstandings around this, I am always happy to discuss them further. Regarding parking, we understand the limitations can be frustrating; however, as we are based in a city, this is unavoidable. There is free street parking available, and North Street in Bedminster offers access to the city centre via various bus routes. Additionally, we offer flexible working arrangements, which we hope help staff reduce their commute into the office. We value the contributions of every team member and remain committed to creating an environment where employees feel supported, appreciated, and equipped to succeed. Thank you again for your feedback.
