Dear colleague, Thank you for rating BIKE24 here on glassdoor. Of course, we regret that you did not feel comfortable with us overall. You especially praised your colleagues and the People & Culture Team. We are very pleased about that - we are always there to help and advise you. At the same time, you described a lack of technical innovation and a need for improvement in terms of salary. We would like to discuss your impressions with you in more detail. To do so, you can always contact your manager or our People & Culture - Business Partners in person and elaborate on the criticism you have raised. Of course, you can also contact me at any time for a confidential discussion. I would be happy to hear from you at 0351/417497 - 317 or by e-mail. Best regards Lucas from the People & Culture Team

Pros

if you're an immigrant, you get a place to live for the period spent working there, they give you equipment (shoes, vests, gloves, scotch tape, cutter, badge & so) fresh water at the cafeteria for free, coffee, sandwiches, juices for affordable prices clean and decent bathrooms some team leaders are nice to you and help you rarely appreciated for work can listen to music at work

Cons

tech problems very often, mistaken packages hierarchical micromanagement outdated mentality and technology incomplete uniform/equipment understaffed, underpaid and overworked depends on the area of the halle romanians are somehow treated like slaves by the company and the recruiter from romania steals some euros out of their salaries, most romanians quit or left with only 800-900 euros polish people at the autostore are time wasters, make a lot of errors and yet they're seen better than other nations, germans have some sort of inner entitlement if something has a system error, you need a higher hierarchical entity to be announced to correct the packages very poor Internet connection and outlets, the main problem for errors redundancy depending on the flux of packages, they move workers from a place to another or expect them to do the work of 10 people and manipulate heavy packages and wagons at the end of the shift you are sweaty, tired and the smell of factory bike wheels rubber is impregnated into your clothes
