Working at Bikky has been one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences in my career. Being at such a small company opens up many opportunities to be exposed to and learn about what it takes to build a successful company. The real difference is the Bikky leadership team; they are transparent and trusting of all employees. They encourage everyone to explore and contribute to parts of business outside of specific job descriptions and that are the most interesting to you. It's sometimes scary to try your hand at something you have no experience in, but it's always interesting to learn about elements you would have never otherwise been exposed to at a different company. Bikky hires amazingly smart people who work incredibly hard. I appreciate the consistent collaboration and support from everyone. There is a real sense of teamwork with a common goal. Some additional positive elements include a dynamic and fast paced work environment, consistent feedback from everyone, customers for the most part are excited about what Bikky is building, flexible work options (remote, in-office, etc.).

While I think Bikky has far more pros than cons, sometimes, the company could do a better job at celebrating the successes. I've learned that the startup mindset doesn't always allow for enough time to stop and revel in the positive for too long before needing to move onto the next goal. That being said, the team is aware of our typical 'go go go' tendencies and are working on better ways to celebrate together! The other thing I will call out is that ambiguity is consistent (ha), at Bikky as well as at any other early stage company - just the nature of a startup.
