      Pros

      • Refreshing Leadership: Since the new leadership came on board, there’s been a noticeable shift in energy. The vision feels clearer, and the momentum is real. • Exciting Work: I’ve had the chance to be part of projects that are not only interesting but have the potential to make a real difference in people’s lives. It’s exciting to come to work knowing you’re building something meaningful. • Team That Feels Like a Team: The people here are genuinely supportive. Everyone pitches in, shares knowledge, and celebrates each other’s wins. It’s rare to find this level of collaboration. • Opportunity to Grow: In a smaller company, you’re not just a cog in the machine. I’ve been able to take on new challenges and grow in ways that wouldn’t have been possible at a larger company. • Fast-Paced, In a Good Way: Things move quickly here — which I love. There’s very little red tape, and it feels like we’re actually getting things done. • Mission-Focused: There’s a strong sense of purpose in the work we do. It’s motivating to be part of a team that genuinely wants to improve healthcare. • Accessible Leadership: The leadership team is approachable and open to feedback. It feels like our voices are heard, which goes a long way. • Great People: Simply put, the people make this place. Smart, kind, driven teammates make even the hard days better. • You Can See Your Impact: One of the best parts about working here is knowing that what you do matters. It’s rewarding to see how your contributions directly help move the company forward.

      Cons

      • Some Growing Pains: With new leadership and exciting change comes a bit of turbulence. Things are evolving fast, and that can sometimes create a bit of uncertainty. • Lean Team = Heavy Lifting: Because we’re a small company, there are times when the workload feels intense. You have to be willing to roll up your sleeves and take on a lot. • Still Building the Plane While Flying It: Processes and systems are still being built out. It can be a little messy at times, but that’s part of the stage we’re in. • Ambiguity Happens: Priorities can shift quickly, and not everything is always clearly defined — which can be tough if you prefer a lot of structure. • Fast-Paced Environment: Things move quickly here. Personally, I like that, but it’s not for everyone — it can feel like a lot if you’re not used to that kind of pace.

      Pros

      Birdi is coming out of a major period of change, including a complete overhaul of the IT and product departments. The new leadership team is intensely focused on the core business, which has involved revamping internal processes to narrow our focus and seriously improve the quality of our output. This has created a real sense of purpose and a clear direction for the company. There's also a great deal of autonomy given to employees. You are trusted to take ownership of your work and have a tangible impact, which creates significant opportunities for professional growth. If you are proactive and enjoy a challenge, this is an environment where you can thrive and see your contributions make a real difference. On a personal level, the new benefits package is amazing, and the health insurance is a significant improvement, showing a clear investment in employee well-being.

      Cons

      The pace of change has been incredibly rapid. While the new direction is positive, the "storming phase" can be tough.
