Pros
The hours are good. No weekends.
Cons
-Layoffs left and right - always the hardest workers that have been there the longest because the company is losing money and can't afford to pay that people that have had raises. -The owner will tell you to do something and the next day she changes her mind. -There isn't really anywhere to advance to. -You are pulled to do so many different jobs. It is easier to stay on the task of one job, especially if you are good at certain things. Too much cross-training is going on. More mistakes happen when you cross-train everyone to do everything because not everyone will stick to certain standards of the task. -Hours are cut during holidays because orders don't come in. Holidays are typically when we need the money most. -Pay for specific job titles is not near the average of what it should be (such as the creative department jobs). -The insurance benefits are so expensive. No 401k. -Quality of life while having this job was awful. I dreaded going to work because I never knew what was going to change that day.
