Pros
I enjoyed the relaxed work environment and the willingness to hire employees who didn't have college degrees but were able to do their jobs anyway. They'll also pay for whatever programs or tech that you need. Pay well when they're able to.
Cons
The top people don't really care about their employees much. I knew people who worked here before starting and the higher ups didn't recognize their names, despite them having worked there for over a year at that point. In fact, working there for several years doesn't produce a sense of loyalty from them. I've worked retail jobs with managers that were more concerned about me as a person than this company. They are not prone to transparency and will convince employees that they're safe from termination and that everyone is fine and then terminate an entire department through one message on Slack--not even through a phone call. If you're a contract employee, they won't honor your entire contract while expecting you to honor your contract entirely.
