Pros
Small scale company and startup to learn
Cons
I am writing this review to share my honest experience working at Britstring IT Services as a contract employee, and unfortunately, it has been extremely disappointing. The work culture here is one of the worst I have experienced. The company itself is very small, with barely 10–20 employees, yet there is a surprising amount of internal politics and mismanagement. Leadership is weak — the CEO does not seem actively involved in running the organization. Instead, most decisions and operations are handled by a relative of the CEO, which raises serious concerns about professionalism and transparency. There is also a clear lack of fairness between contract and permanent employees. I was hired as a contract employee for a project with Infosys, but the hiring process itself felt unethical. My interview was not genuinely conducted by me — it was handled by another individual (Shailesh), who is already employed elsewhere. Despite this, the opportunity was assigned under my name, and the compensation structure appears to be split between multiple parties, including Britstring and this intermediary. This kind of arrangement feels highly unprofessional and questionable. Additionally, there is a strong culture of favoritism within the company. Certain employees prioritize their friend circles rather than supporting individuals who genuinely want to learn and grow. Opportunities for development are not distributed fairly, and merit does not seem to be valued. Overall, the environment is toxic, with internal politics, lack of transparency, and poor leadership. I would strongly advise others to carefully evaluate before joining, especially in a contract role
