      Pros

      The company is in a very interesting market. There are a lot of passionate people working here.

      Cons

      There is a disconnect between the C-Suite and how the company operates on the ground floor. The company is stuck and the priorities are constantly changing. Decisions are rash and made without proper data, and initiatives abandoned when they unsurprisingly fail. Bitsight hired too many mediocre people, and as a result now moving too slow in the market.

      Pros

      - Lots of opportunities for cross-functional work/working with senior-level SMEs - EOY Bonus (usually) - Great benefits (Flexible PTO policy/stipends)

      Cons

      - Exec suite does not care about you! - Pay is not competitive; was paid significantly less relative to market for experience (didn't realize this until too late, mgmt wouldn't adjust salary either) - No cost-of-living raises over the 2 years I worked there (No raise at all, ever, actually! And no support to be promoted from within) - Layoffs occur twice a year, and everyone is replaceable
