Pros

- Salary is always on time. - Excellent trainer support team. - Materials are well-prepared.

Cons

- They get to set their own metrics ANYTIME they want and it gets harder every time. I have been with the company for more than 5 years now and sadly, my rate has been going down each year. - After the release of the most recent KPI video/metrics, the company asked for trainers to give their comments and suggestions. I think it was a waste of time because the decision was already final. There weren't even follow ups on the points the trainers made like the drop down option for students' ratings and a lot more. Indeed, their company- their rules. Take it or leave it.

Hi there. Thank you for your feedback. Yes, I can change our targets anytime. But have I changed the targets every time? The last time I changed the targets was over two years ago. And the time before that was 4 years ago. So during your 5 years at Bizmates, the targets were adjusted twice. Is that changing it every time? And yes, I created a form for any trainer to submit their comments and I received over 300 comments which I’ve replied to every single one. It was a chance for me to address your concerns and to answer your questions. And I replied to every single comment and even made an hour long video to share what the concerns from other trainers were. I’ve been completely open about why I’ve made the changes. It wasn’t a chance for you to get your demands passed. Having said that, I did say that there were a few suggestions that I would consider such as giving more weight to feedback from regular students, having a pop up after the lesson for customer feedback, and not having a default score of 3. So if your advice was to remove internet connection as a KPI or force all students to fill out the feedback form or don’t count cancellations when you have a legitimate excuse, etc, no your advice to me was not accepted because I don’t agree with them. If you want your rate to increase, you need to raise your performance. What was good enough to get 200PHP two years ago is not good enough now. It used to be OK to have 3% cancellation. It’s not OK now when the average cancellations is like 1%. It used to be OK to get 4.20 for Customer Feedback. It’s not OK now when the average of all the trainers is above 4.50. You need to up your game. Many trainers have realized this and managed to raise their performance. And you can do it. But you can’t do it if all you do is blame others. Have you ever watched one of those motivating success videos on YouTube? Do they ever say that you should blame others because it’s never your own fault?
