Pros
1. Working with PH Colleagues is okay 2. They provide Laptops 3. They provide Online trainings
Cons
1. They always say they don't have budget, but they have budget for other things 2. Salary isn't that much competitive (They always barge the PH applicants with the bare minimum salary, benefits (1 HMO with 1 dependent but shared), minimum leaves 3. They promote manager/s that lacks knowledge about the system, process, and makes bad decisions that makes the outcome so ugly. 4. Do not fall for the clickbait, they don't have honest description of the job you are going to work with. Exam will be Laravel and Vue but on your first day, they will give you an existing system that is powered by FuelPhP which is an old stack 5. Management don't look for their people, they always think that their people are still in good condition, but in reality many people want to quit because of the indecisiveness of Japan people to change the process. 6. If you don't have a project, you will be in the DevOps, which is not your total job, and it is not what you think. The actual work of DevOps here is to answer customers concern, you are like working in the Customer Service Field 7. Japan IT team thinks they are highly intelligent persons compare to the PH Team, but when you talk about the processes, PH team has a lot more to offer compare to them, 8. They always say that those who are good with collaborating with japan has a lot more opportunity compare to those who don't. 9. Their systems are like a work of freelancers, no coding standards, no SOLID Principles, no strict coding implementation from the Japan Team. (low standard) 10. No documentation (Red Flag, PH Team are always the one who do the documentations whenever a new system is incoming) 11. Some of the managers don't attend DSM, they do but they still require huddle from the team to know the status (in short, they dont listen), even the complaints of their people. they don't even listen. Meetings are exhausting, everyday we are required to complete the JIRA board and they still require the team leads to give them the weekly report, they can even just look on the jira board and confluence. 12. UX and UI of Applicant portal really sucks, some of the PH Devs suggested to revamp/innovate it but no luck, they always add features and is not meticulous with the user experience with the website 13. They provide online trainings, but it will not be useful on your current project, maybe on your next company, it will be useful 14. Not very resourceful with the people they hire - Japan team always look for the outsource developers when in fact many of PH dev members dont have projects and still on standby, they always think they lack resources when in fact there are a lot of devs there. (Red Flag) 15. If you are not cooperative, other devs will replace you because the owner always say "The people who can collaborate with Japan has a lot more opportunity"
