Blachford has amazing potential and is made up of some of the best employees I’ve ever worked with. Every day we work on improving. Our focus is on People, Planet, and Profit. In that order.

-Working at Blachford is like being in a verbally abusive relationship. The company has an extremely toxic work culture. There are high turnover rates, constant office gossip, bullying and cliques. People put other people down to make themselves look better. Management is critical of people in front of their fellow employees. Customers are blamed and trash-talked. You're afraid to give your own opinion out of fear you'll make them angry. -I felt very unsafe at work. It is not worth it to feel like I was putting my life in danger just to make a paycheck. -There is a lack of discipline of the bad employees and lack of acknowledgment of the ones doing good work. -Blachford has a habit of firing employees and fails to realize that they need to look at the systemic, internal issues instead of finger-pointing, blaming employees and even the customer. -There is a severe lack of appreciation for employees and their safety. -There are a lack of standards and processes so work is completed based on how people think it should work or "how it's always been done". Job scopes are extremely unclear. More and more work is put on employees without consideration nor appreciation for the amount of work they're already doing. If you work harder, you'll get more.
