Pros

Average to above average pay, great benefits and allowed to work remotely.

Cons

If you weren't part of the Reno cult (friends of T), you were an outsider. No strategy, no plan, and unrealistic sales targets. Was like a group of weed smoking friends who smooth-talked their way into getting paid to work together. Talk about culture and promoting cannabis was all corporate BS from the president.

Blackbird Logistics Response

The lack of transparency from the founder and his Reno crew took longer to penetrate than anticipated. We agree that we could and should have acted sooner in hindsight. It's unfortunate that he managed to effectively destroy two companies.

Pros

Blackbird has some really kind people. The team is small so it's very startup like. I only left because I needed more time at home with my family and the startup life is very busy.

Cons

Working across timezones really has never been an issue for me, but with the acquisition I was primarily focused on herbl needs and I needed to be available until 7pm CST most days for that team. With my toddler I couldn't really keep up with that.

Pros

“Inclusive” to an extent. People are generally nice and kind. Some people are hardworking but at the end of the day everyone is over their head with this company.

Cons

It’s not so much a question of if this company is going to fail but more of when. This is something that they’ve done to themselves however with poor leadership decisions from the top down. They’ve lost over 70% of their clients in a year and wonder what happened. Now they were just divested from the public company that they were acquired by and the owners of the company have 3 years to make up $15M. There is no way they have the ability to do this, especially with the business experience and lack of direction. Because of all this, over half of the companies workforce has been fired in the last year, it’s third round of MAJOR layoffs since Jan 2019. If you’re looking for a job here avoid it like the plague. You’re better off waiting for something that will be around by 2022.
