Pros

Excellent place to work, no micro management which is rare for a recruitment agency, we are given autonomy to manage our own markets and grow them with management being there to lend advice and guidance if needed but not breathing down your neck every 5 minutes. A great team full of good characters and experienced consultants who can also lend good advice across different markets which is great for people who don't have much recruitment experience to learn from. Perfect location as it is right in the centre of town and literally a 5 minute walk from Bournemouth Gardens & Bournemouth beach. If you need to get out of the office for lunch or to do a bit of shopping, again its a 2 minute walk and you are spoilt for choice. I would highly recommend Bloc digital for anyone from experienced recruiters to someone looking to start a career in recruitment.

Cons

I have not experienced any cons of working at Bloc since joining in June 2015. So far I have nothing but positive things to say.

Pros

It’s such a refreshing feeling to wake up in the morning and want to go to work; there are so many people out there that don’t. Our team are close, supportive and motivating which has given us a great head start into building a funky brand and sticking to our values. We work in a very forward-thinking and entrepreneurial environment, so there is freedom to come in and build your desk in your own little way, but always remembering that the team are always there if you would like advice and are happy to offer constructive ideas. There’s always fifa and a “foosball table” to turn to when you need a little break too!

Cons

Being a small team the office can sometimes be a bit quiet, however we do our best to work together and support this creating as much of a vibe as possible. This does also offer the opportunity to build a larger team, so if you’re looking to work with a friendly and motivated bunch, get practising fifa and come join the gang!
