Sales team does not value creativity or entrepreneurship as much as other teams do, and feels those qualities are high-risk. Thus, many creative employees with growth mindsets will leave. Some managers are more process-oriented than results-oriented, which means you are better off making 40 calls a day and bringing in less profit than making 10 calls a day and making more profit. Luckily not the case for every manager. Underpays. The offers I have outside of Square are 2x what Square offers, but it really is a great place to work. (People are often happier than at places that pay more).
