Pros
Great culture with focus on pair programming and collaboration. People generally upbeat and behind Square's product/mission. Sense of dedication to a great end user experience for merchants.
Cons
Horizontal structure so there's not as much upward mobility within the company. Much of design is in New York so communication back and forth between engineers and design needs improvement.
