Pros

Great revenue from ads, appropriate ads which you can choose from (opt in/out), can participate in social media influencer campaigns as well, usually paying from $50-150 for two or three tweets and Facebook posts.

Cons

BlogHer needs to up its influencer relations game. They are very stingy and impersonal with their emails and treat their influencers as lowly employees. Very rude.

Pros

At first the pay was good and jobs were plenty. You can chose what campaigns you would like to write for. You work from home as a contract influencer/blogger. Once they merged with SheKnows Media things seemed to go downhill.

Cons

Recent major drop in ad income earnings due to ? They seem unorganized and it's hard to get a response when you have a question about a project. I've gotten emails from different Program Managers at BlogHer/SheKnows Media concerning accounts that I wasn't even a part of (disorganized). There seem to be fewer and fewer work opportunities with them. They seem to believe in quantity as opposed to quality. BlogHer conferences are a waste of time and money.
