I worked at Bloktopia for a year, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It's a place where they don't respect contracts, pay late, and treat employees badly. They fired me when I didn't agree to a new contract with worse terms. And even though my contract said I should get notice pay, they didn't give it to me. They often paid me late, and when I complained, they basically told me to quit if I didn't like it. Once, they even said I should be thankful for getting paid at all because they could just leave for Dubai without paying us. When I asked company director if he is okay with not paying me for the work I've done he said it doesn't bother him and laughed. They kept giving me more work without changing my job title or pay. They never thanked me for it or gave me a chance to move up. To make matters worse, I was often scapegoated for the poor decisions made by the company owners, without being consulted or involved in the decision-making process. Overall, Bloktopia is a bad place to work: toxic, unsustainable and doesn't care about the contracts.
