      Pros

      The pros at the start were freedom of wearing what we wanted and endless free coffee, but those perks were taken away and eventually a dress code and a one free drink limit were imposed

      Cons

      The previously mentioned perks were taken away and my former boss was not great with communication.

      Flexible schedule, was great as a college job

      By late 2023/early 2024 definitely started shifting away from an experience based coffee place to feeling more like all the rest

      In higher volume cafes, tips can be very lucrative.

      Cons

      Understaffed and the rush can be very overwhelming at first. I would not recommend this job for first time baristas.
