Pros
The majority of the people working at Blue Canopy are great, friendly people. Everyone is generally quite respectful and easy to socialize with. Quite a few company-sponsored events compared to many companies. I personally gained a ton of experience quickly moving from an intern to a project manager within 3 years. Note that your mileage may very as the majority of Blue Canopy focuses on assessments. Blue Canopy provides fairly competitive benefits as well (though you may have to jump through some hoops to obtain them).
Cons
Pay can be extremely low. After working at the company for 3 years I was still making less than the average for a junior developer. Some senior management decisions can be quite traditional and inefficient. For one, our entire development team seems to be undervalued and underfunded as upper management focuses the vast majority of their time and resources to assessment teams. Other times, questionable decisions clearly show how inexperienced some managers are. 401k takes 4 years to fully vest. Sometimes it feels as though a disproportionate amount of funding goes towards company events.
