Pros
It's an engineering playground here, with top notch equipment and incredibly talented coworkers. We fly rockets. We have incredible work/life balance. It's inclusive and management does not tolerate unprofessional behavior. Salary is nothing super special - but it's also not unfair.
Cons
I get the sense that Blue Origin's currently low Glassdoor rating is an artifact of immaturity and entitlement, likely from Blue Origin's old guard. My jaw drops when these hotshots get steamed because they're not supplied a steady stream of snacks while making 50% above the industry average just to work for a mere 40 hours a week. This place is everything I dreamed of but I'm worried about longevity because of the unrealistic expectations floating around. The people who have been around for years did a wonderful job developing New Sheppard and should be proud of that. But they're digging in their heels and pitching fits when the company tries to make progress on any non-technical front.
