Pros
Strong employer brand known for hiring premium talent, will be good for your resume. Low attrition, the few high performers that do leave go to other premium brands. Pays fair to market competitive depending on the function, does not pay "low" in any function.
Cons
Long hours, generally every team is understaffed as the firm keeps growing, Frequent new joiners are another issue as each new joiner wants to prove themselves leading to increased competition leaving many groups feeling "toxic" and gossipy as people find their place, some acquisitions have gone well, but others have struggled to adjust to not being big man in room any more, No actions are being taken to assess how employees feel at work, limited HR support, few formal HR support processes or resources for mental health. Group heads are all managing the biggest teams they have in quite some time and need to bulk up support/middle management and provide leadership training and coaching. Overall, still a place I would reccomend working but they need to keep an eye on the scale and ensure support functions are well staffed. every company is a sh*t show really so its still better than many competitors.
