Pros

No pros only cons. There is nothing positive to say.

Cons

General manager played favorites. Only her favorites would get $18 an hour while everyone else got $13 an hour. General manager pitted people against each other. Hostile work environment. Get better management it would make things better.

Pros

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had the pleasure of working at Blue Water Hospitality in Summerland Key, FL, where I assisted in opening a new RV resort. My role focused on enhancing guest experiences and training the housekeeping staff. It was an incredibly rewarding experience, largely due to the supportive and dynamic work environment. Tim, the General Manager, was an exceptional supervisor. His leadership and dedication to excellence made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. He was always approachable, provided clear guidance, and fostered a team spirit that motivated everyone to perform their best. The team at Blue Water Hospitality is passionate about delivering top-notch service, and it shows in every aspect of the resort. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a fulfilling career in hospitality.

Cons

A couple things to note is that the pay does not meet the need to live in the Keys, and opening a new resort involved much more than the job description initially outlined. The responsibilities were extensive and required a lot of flexibility and dedication. However, this challenge also provided a great opportunity for growth and learning.

Pros

Wonderful opportunities exist for those who want to make a difference and grow the business. The community was excited and happy with positive energy and interactions being introduced. Job was wonderful until...

Cons

After being brought into a failing environment, attempts to implement structure and accountability was undermined by Human Resources. Belatedly learned it was happening before my joining, and continues to happen after my departure. I myself was fired without cause after a group of employees conspired to be considered for the newly vacant position. Other employees who were approached and asked to join the conspiracy reported such. Young female employees accused of wrong doings and their older male counterparts are treated unequally. I had spent months musing that 'there are no men here' and then the beast ate me.
