Pros

Well at least there's animals.

Cons

Where to begin. I mean, it's honestly just a dumpster fire of a company, but who's surprised there? This is corporate America at its finest. The front desk is the punching bag for everyone. Clients, techs, doctors, mgmt... if you work the front desk, expect to be treated like an imbecile. You will be talked down to, you will be screamed at, you will be sworn at. It's obviously your fault that the prices are so high, it's also your fault that Fluffy's owner called for an update. If you follow protocol, the clients/techs/drs will get angry at you for bothering them. If you don't follow protocol, management will get angry at you for breaking the rules. You're damned if you do, damned if you don't. The overworked technicians take out their frustrations on the front desk, but if you dare to throw it back at them, you'll be the one who gets in trouble. When a tech belittles your intelligence, you are expected to take it with a smile and ask for more. It's the kind of job that really makes the findings of the Stanford Prison Experiment come to life. Oh and the doctors? Well one of the surgeons used to fornicate with techs in the exam rooms, so naturally he's the head surgeon now. My advice to anyone looking to work here is this: don't. If you must, then just be aware that this location is a fine example of why the veterinary industry has the highest rates of suicide.
