Pros
I have had a good few years with the company’s JV business. Lots of exposure in many fields. A few positives to highlight: A 100 years old company constantly striving to be greater Work life balance Empathetic culture, good work environment Lots of opportunities for good talent especially if you are mobile and open minded Employees are remunerated well Peers working relationships are pleasant in general
Cons
The constant change in the ASEAN top leadership resulting in short lived strategy and business directions Weak career progression planning for employees Employees training and development don’t appear as important Employees motivation and professional fulfilment not taken seriously Usually only the higher up managers or leaders have a scope to drive, the lower level are just minions…little empowerment
