Pros

The pros of working here are the heart of the company -- the children and the RBT's. However, both are undervalued (see my comments in the 'con' section). Another pro is the bond between most of the staff; however, one could compare it to a trauma bond.

Cons

The cons are too long to list here but I'll attempt to summarize. I worked in operations at this company for several years and was treated poorly for the majority of the time I worked here. I reached out to HR and filled out a detailed survey before I resigned. I was told I would be receiving a call from HR to follow up; that call never came. BlueSprig's main goal is to open as many clinics as possible since that increases their profits. Unfortunately, this causes them to disregard the clinics that are already up and running that need help. Most if not all of the clinics that provide direct care to clients are understaffed, workers are underpaid, and safety is neglected. Meanwhile those in the corporate side of the company seem to have forgotten the company's motto of changing the world for children with autism. Their sunshine-y responsibilities are a stark contrast to the dirty work that is required of anyone working in an actual clinic, and their lack of understanding for what a clinic needs is blatant. For example, we would often work in clinics where the temperature was over 90 degrees, the toilets couldn't be flushed, and/or the ceiling was leaking. We DID reach out to HR multiple times over the course of years, and little to nothing was done in a timely manner.

Pros

The RBTs and BCBAs are great and truly care for the children. You are able to work with a multitude of children and staff instead of a small team. They provide decent insurance.

Cons

This company does not put money into the clinics or stimuli for the clients. If you need something for a child, expect to have to purchase it with your own money. Bluesprig also does not provide any RBTs for administrative tasks so if you need materials made, you have to do it on your personal time at home. Additionally, with no admin time the clinics become dirty. If I toured one of the nearby clinics, I would not send my child there due to the filth on the walls and toys. When you are provided with an evaluation, it is 6 months after the review period. It is obvious that the CEO has no behavioral background because there are no incentives to motivate RBTs (or the children for that matter). This is the consensus of multiple BCBAs and RBTs from different clinics, not just my opinion.
