Pros

Their office is relatively nice and in a great location. In theory, the office has a small team and tries to provide a friendly environment for everyone to connect. It would’ve been a thriving business had it been executed properly because it seemed like a nice place at first.

Cons

Poor communication. Directors don’t defend their lower-rung employees. Management and founders play favorites in each department and will only ever listen to their favorites. Gaslighting and firing employees for any reason (without notice too). Pay is extremely low, there’s no moving up and there’s very little room for a raise. Benefits are bare minimum. You’ll be overworked to death while the directors are take multiple vacations a year, wear $1000 jackets, buying luxury handbags while giving their own kids the best of everything. 5-star reviews here are from favorites or hired family friends. Not very inclusive and management is terrified of smart, new people. There’s zero chance of moving up unless you’re white, Jewish or unless you’ve been there for 10+ years (which applies to very few employees). They don’t respect or value good employees; all they do is mistrust you and have unrealistic expectations of your work. They also take credit for ideas from terminated employees and spin it as if they came up with them. I've seen and heard so many good, talented people terminated from this company and it's completely ridiculous. Stay away.

So many falsehoods in this, it's hard to know where to start. This employee barely worked in the office before Covid hit. And this person apparently while "working from home" was actually getting paid by us, and "working from home" for a second company. On top of that, we didn't fire them, they quit. Firing without notice is pure fiction. Even with the Covid downturn we didn't fire a single employee. Not one. Our team is quite diverse, and senior people include people of diverse backgrounds. There is literally nobody that works at the company that is family or friends (at least they weren't friends beforehand, but they've become family since.) Many of our employees have been with the company for over 10 years, and some have been with us almost since 2000.

Pros

I had a ton of autonomy and flexibility to make decisions and do things the way that I wanted to do them, and had all of my decisions supported. Blueswitch does a good job of respecting their employees expertise, challenging them in respectful ways, and supporting them when issues come up. We did a lot of the core customer success check-in kind of stuff for clients, but additionally managed the projects large and small and helped develop solutions for new features. A smaller client load made this very doable and kept work interesting and challenging.

Cons

It's not really a good place for beginners, or those just starting off in the industry. I appreciated the autonomy and flexibility, others may need more structure in order to accomplish their goals.
