- Cobbled training - there isn't a clear organized training curriculum and guidance around attaining skills. So I find that I have to 1) figure out what skills I need to learn and 2) actively seek out opportunities and people to train me in those skills. Employees have told me that prior to COVID, they would get a week-long intensive training experience in all Barista skills. I wish I had that experience.
