Pros

I joined Bluefish as a consultant in January and have enjoyed every moment so far. You get the chance to work with some very big names, and due to the nature of consultancies, you get to move around different clients, meaning there is very little opportunity to get bored! I have found that you get the perfect balance of support and freedom from the senior team. They are always on hand if I have any questions or concerns, but they also trust me as the professional that I am to get on and do the job without micro-managing me. Bluefish pride themselves on recruiting the most experienced professionals in the field, meaning that we have a great reputation, and this encourages the team to work hard and be inspired by our colleagues around us. It has been less that a year since I started the job, but I feel very much a part of the team and look forward to the variety and challenge that working for Bluefish will bring me.

Cons

There are no real cons that I can think of...I suppose that because I am consulting I am on the road a lot, but that was made clear to me during the recruitment process so I knew what I was getting into.

Pros

Joined Bluefish almost 4 years ago .... great company, good people and although purchased by Vodafone we were left to run as Bluefish ... flexible, fast to react, can-do ... In early 2015 year we had a 40% growth and continued independence from Vodafone ... Bluefish used to have significant direct business (non-Vodafone) Ratings are as of current ownership - Bluefish would have had 5 stars across the board - now lost.

Cons

In early 2016 the CEO of Vodafone Global Enterprise changed - and we lost our key sponsor. Bluefish CEO was moved off to a special project and a Vodafone Senior put in charge - and it went downhill from that point. In March the announcement was made all Bluefish people will formally change to be on Vodafone contracts, several Bluefish 'package items' would go ... e.g. company cars, free broadband, health care, lower bonus, and although a one-off financial uplift to make up the financial value ......... it was very much pitching all Bluefish as a lot lower than they had been. At end of March Vodafone gave assurance al who entered the migration programme would still be with company at the end of - not true. At the end of June a large number of people were made redundant, and had gagging orders to prevent discussion. All that was good about Bluefish has been lost - starting with direct business, almost zero non-Vodafone business. The ability to recruit, work unencumbered by Vodafone process, flexibility, speed of action - all that made Bluefish a good purchase is now lost by becoming part of the larger Vodafone pond.

Pros

too many pros to list. i've been here for quite a few years. i'm obviously pro Bluefish but this is an honest review. Best example I can give to illustrate why we are a great company to work for.... - I had an idea. I thought it was a good one - I emailed senior management - hour later they emailed back saying great idea, investigate further, make it happen - within a week, I have mobilised team, refined the idea, properly scoped and processed out -10 days later its implemented and business value instantly realised you don't get that with every company out there. We embrace innovation, we listen, we want to improve and we're agile enough for the idea to still be relevant before the world has moved on!

Cons

rather than Cons, these are the "counters" to all the positivity above ;) - We're now owned by one of the biggest brands in the World. While still retaining much of our independence we do have to work daily with a multinational corporate and the challenges that brings - Its hard work here. you're well rewarded but we don't do easy. its big programmes of work, its scary and its inevitably complex by nature. shy and retiring types don't tend to do well here ;)
