I spent 8 wonderful years at BWW, and having now been in the fitness industry for 15 years I’m pretty sure I will one day look back at my time at BWW as the highlight.
In an always uncertain industry such as fitness BodyWorksWest is an extremely unique opportunity should you get the chance to work there. A really incredible membership base, and a tight knit staff make this family run business a really satisfying and exciting place to progress a career in fitness.
Like any job, you have to bring your A game to succeed and BWW is no different, especially given its setting and clientele. But if you find yourself given the chance to work here, then do what you can to make it work and you will have an amazing management team and owners who will help you grow and develop in whatever role you’re in.
For personal training the money is great, and if you have a good product, great communication and you care about what you do then it will be hard to find anywhere better to work as a Personal Trainer.
The managers and directors were always there to support, plus they encourage good ideas and give you the freedom to build upon them which is unlike anywhere else you will find in this industry.
If you ever get the chance to work here, do not underestimate just how good it can be for you.
The clientele are also really great to work with, very different to other high end gyms this is more of a community with so many interesting people to work with and learn from.
I say this with plenty of experience of working in gyms, It really doesn’t get better than Bodyworkswest.
Cons
Very occasionally the free coffee machine doesn’t work for a few hours.
That’s literally the worst thing that I can think of.
