Pros

- Some of the people that work at BI are absolute superstars and great humans, so if you get lucky and get on the right team, you have fun with them - Free coffee and fruit - You work on video games

Cons

- Management claims it's apolitical but that is false. - If you're a woman and/or LGBT stay as far away as possible. You will not be taken seriously, you will get constantly undermined, and will never be allowed to advance. Pay gap is a serious issue. - For the management, you're just a number that is leeching on their precious money. You are not an asset to them. - Management is so far away from reality that it hurts to even think about. The evidence is what happened to the Ylands team and the type of person that was hired to lead that team. Those guys really got the short end of the stick. The team got mostly fired despite holding some of the most valuable skills for the industry (check where some of them are now - Lead designers, Senior programmers, Marketing directors, etc. within the industry) and whoever was "allowed" to stay got bullied. - The pay is laughable unless you're way up there in management. - No sick days, you have to take a day off. - Got a complaint? Forget about it. - Tricking people into switching to contractors instead of full time employees to dodge taxes and make it easier to get rid of people.

Pros

Everyone you work with is nice. Semi flexible work environment. Mostly a 40 hr work week with only occasional overtime depending on the project. They encourage employees to get involved in helping improve the company culture.

Cons

Often projects are too aggressively planned for the resources the company has. Some teams have crunch time due to poor planning from above. CEO / Finance seems out of touch with issues in the development process. High turn over rate. Pay for most roles isn't competitive for the industry. Not many office perks beyond a few fridges and a microwave.
