Pros

I can't think of any to share after they layoff 80 people right before the holidays. Massive amounts of food won't stave off how I feel about they layoff and how it was handled.

Cons

The 80 people who were laid off were not in the "In Club" and we're part of the boy's network. There is a strong male culture here and if you don't participate you don't get ahead. Fortunately, now people realize that Boingo isn't the "right place at the right time" because a good culture doesn't treat people with such lack of respect. PS, HR does not have a heart.

Pros

- If you're lucky enough to have been grandfathered into being remote the hours are very flexible. - Diverse work environment. - Autonomy in how to approach problems - Decent benefits, such as generous tuition reimbursement

Cons

- Below Industry standard pay - Hemorrhaging employees with no backfill creating more work for those who remain - 2 VPs and the CTO have left over the last few months, not signs of a healthy company - The org structure is such a mess that answering a simple question such as "Who is the PM for this project?" Requires hiring a private investigator and enhanced interrogation techniques. That's a joke. Sort of. - Slow to promote
