Pros
- the people I worked with daily were all awesome and helpful! - I got lucky and had the best manager - unlimited PTO, that I was encouraged to use - got to learn new skills
Cons
- during interviews you are told there are opprtunites for growth/advancement but it’s really selective. You would be expected and given opportunites to learn new skills and take on more responsibilities but they would not promote you or pay you more for doing so. - raises and bonuses were disappointing - health insurance is very expensive for the coverage you get - they seem to be slowly getting more strict/removing the perks and benefits that were there when I started 2 years ago. - never had any idea how the company was doing financially, every month they’d go over sales but didn’t explain if that meant we were profitable or not - willing to give up quality to keep increasing velocity - Upper management essentially telling employees with valid concerns “if you only worry about the things in your control, you’ll be much happier”
